On the other hand, all limestones such as marble, porcelain and all stones belonging to the granite family are suitable for use in the kitchen. When choosing materials, it is better to consider the necessary information about the stone’s resistance to pressure and chemical agents, and to check the humidity level of the selected stone.

The stone on the cabinets, tables and counters must be resistant to impact, wear and moisture and bear weight. In addition, it is very important that this stone has the least reaction with food and detergent.

In recent years, various artificial stones were used for cabinet stone; But natural stone has maintained its position and supporters and one of the best natural stone options for this purpose is granite. Another good feature of granite stone for use as cabinet stone is its low moisture absorption rate.

Another choice among natural stones for use on kitchen cabinets is marble. Marble with a stylish and pleasant appearance is suitable for the kitchen; But its scratch resistance is not as good as granite. In addition, marble has natural veins and small holes on the surface, which are filled with a series of coatings on their surface. Marble has little resistance to acid detergents and even a small amount of acid in vinegar, lemon, tea and coffee causes corrosion and stains on it. Chinese stones, with a reasonable price, high resistance, and a relatively beautiful appearance, are another cost of using stone for the cabinet.

The stone walls and floor give a pleasant and pleasant atmosphere to the bathroom. The same methods and considerations that are considered for any interior space should be taken into account in the construction of platforms and folder floors in the bathroom. Stone is in contact with soap and other chemicals in bathrooms and sanitary facilities, and despite the resistance to absorb these substances, it must also be cleanable. Not all stones have this ability, including marble. Marble has little resistance to detergents and you must use stones resistant to detergents and moisture.

In addition to good physical properties, the stonework has beautiful transparency and shine, and its white color gives a good sense of cleanliness to the bathroom. Like masonry, granite stones have high resistance; But they don’t add enough beauty to the bathroom like porcelain stones.

All types of limestone, except those with high porosity, are suitable for bathroom services. If porous stones or travertines become impermeable to water, even these stones will be suitable for use in the bathroom.

The stone sculptures produced are mostly used in luxury homes in European countries and America. The stone used for sculpting must meet the following three requirements:
