Natural Stones Instance
Igneous stones Instance
Usually, the molten materials that make up igneous rocks have different chemical compositions. They are also created with different amounts and sizes and temperatures, which has led to the igneous rocks’ formation with more than 700 types. Granite, gabbro, basalt and rhyolite are igneous rocks examples that we will introduce them.
Granite
An external igneous rocks example that people know for its use in building materials is Granite. Feldspar and quartz are two minerals of this stone. Quartz is used in the bridge’s construction, floor and wall tiles, kitchen linings and decorative stones.
Gabbro
Gabbro is also a igneous rock type that is formed when magma is trapped on the earth surface the and it cools. The gabbro rock chemical composition is similar to basalt. The gabbro stone grains are coarse, and it is also known as black granite. Its applications include making gravestones, building railways, and floor tiles.
Basalt
This stone is one of the many stones on earth. They are external igneous rocks with a fine-grained texture. Basalt is used in the construction industry and in railways.
Rhyolite
Rhyolite is one of the igneous rocks that occurs on the earth surface. These volcanic stones are usually seen in nature with green, cream, brown and yellow colors. Rhyolite is used as an abrasive stone. It can also be used in jewelry making because rhyolite is an ornamental stone.
Sedimentary Stones Instance
Conglomerate
You may have heard its name a lot. This stone is one of the destructive sedimentary rocks, and most of its components are small and quartz coarse pieces, calcite, granite, limestone, etc.
Cut
This sedimentary rock is formed from small and large pieces. The materials movement on the fault surface and the materials fall from the mountains slopes cause it to occur.
Sandstone
Another destructive sedimentary rock is sandstone, which has an abrasive effect. Impurities and the cement presence in sandstone cause the pea formation, red, brown, yellow and green colored layers.
Metamorphic Stones Instance
Onyx Stone
The people mistakenly use the words marble and Onyx instead of each other; Marble stone is formed by the limestone or dolomite transformation.
Onyx stone often has large crystals and is calcite mineral composed. They are also composed of other minerals such as hematite, limonite, graphite, etc.
Quartzite
Quartzite stone is a white stone with gray streaks. Its main mineral is quartz and it has high resistance, which has made it used in building construction and for floors and stairs.
Slate
The three main constituent minerals are slate, muscovite, quartz and chlorite. Slate can be found in different colors in nature. This stone has very small crystals with little metamorphism.
