In general, the stones use with many patterns and patterns, especially the dark ones, in small spaces is not very favorable in the viewer eyes due to the smaller space.
Khoi Marble (West Azerbaijan):
Khoi marble has a high resistance due to its compact and dense texture. The resistance, beauty and low water absorption of this stone has led to its widespread use in flooring in high-traffic areas despite its relatively high price. This stone is available in three types: cream, olive and gold, each of which has its own design and color. Better grades do not have impurity streaks, and in weaker grades, streaks can be seen on the stone surface.
The dominant background is green sandstone, which tends to be lighter in quality and dark green in weaker varieties. In addition to this, silk stone with a light brown background and very beautiful diagonal veins is also queried from Khoi quarries.
The very attractive color and design of this stone, along with its bright background, has made it very popular for use in the residential units carpet floors.
It is also queried from Khoy Sang red quarries. This stone has a dark and bright red background color with white and pink streaks spread on the stone surface, which is mainly used for floor carpets and staircase walls due to its good compressive strength.
Nemin Marble:
Nemin marble quarries are located in Ardabil province near Nemin city. The background color is light cream with white and gray streaks and in some cases, orange is the reason for this stone beauty along with its suitable hardness.
Concentrated white halos can be seen in parts of this stone, which is also known as ice flower. The bright color of the background, good resistance, high polishing ability, and low porosity are the characteristics of this stone, which despite its relatively high price, has made it a suitable option for high traffic areas.
Chehrak Marble:
This stone quarries are located in Yazd and Fars provinces (Bowanat city). Charak marble is available in cream-pink and cream-olive colors. Therefore, among the general public, Gohares are found as a completely ordinary stone without attractive features and can only be used in buildings with ordinary or even low-level joinery. The Gohare stone pressure resistance is suitable and therefore it is widely used in public places, offices and schools as wall coverings, floor carpets and stairs. Low porosity, uniform design and reasonable price are this stone advantages, and in contrast to normal maintenance and not very high resistance to moisture, it is one of its disadvantages. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid using the Gohare in open spaces and exposed to high humidity due to its calcareous texture.
Simakan Marble:
There are 30 marble quarries in Fars province. This stone background color is dark to light cream and white and brown lines and streaks are scattered on its surface. This stone quality varieties are brighter and have less white halos. Low water absorption, good compressive strength and high maintenance are the Simakan stone characteristics, and for this reason, it is mainly used in 40x40cm and 60x60cm sizes for floors, walls and stairs.
Paradise Marble (Senator):
Paradise marble is one of the beautiful marble types, which is mainly queried from the Isfahan quarries, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces.
