Marble Characteristics

Marble is one of the sedimentary and sometimes metamorphic rocks, whose structure is modified under the pressure and heat influence.

due to many limestone veins presence and lack of durability against weather conditions, it is mainly used inside buildings.

This stone surface weathering causes more water to penetrate into the limestone veins and destroy its texture. Of course, the amount and destruction varies speed depending on weather conditions, but non-uniform erosion is quite possible.

Dehbid Marble

Dehbid stone is one of the most beautiful and expensive marble types in the country. This stone was extracted from Dehbid quarries  located in Fars’s province, including Dehbid Shayan, Zarei, Dehbid Angorak, etc.

Each quarry has its own design and color. The light cream background, along with the dark and pale ice lines and streaks, has increased its beauty, and its high-quality type is mainly used in the salons floors or luxury lobbies due to its high price. Reducing the dark lines number (so-called deer antlers) on the stone surface improves its quality and sort.

Low water absorption and excellent marble maintenance are Dehbid marble characteristic features.

This stone is usually offered in the market in the size of 40 x 40 to more than 1 meter. Dehbid marble is well known in international markets and a high-quality large volume products are exported annually in the form of large blocks or processed.

Also, the black version of this stone is also very beautiful. The completely dark black background with small white and gold colors scattered in many parts of its surface is more attractive for use in lobbies, around the elevator and around the floor carpet.

Suitable resistance, low water absorption and high marble maintenance are this stone characteristics and it is also known as spider because of its special design.

The important thing about this stone is that due to the lack of uniform veins distribution throughout the stone, the finished surface will not be very uniform when cut.

Abadeh Shiraz Marble

Abadeh marble is one of the marble types.it has attracted attention due to its bright color, beautiful design and reasonable price.

 Different quarries  of this region have different colors and designs, which are available in different stone types, cream color, cotton flower, etc. Abadeh Karam Amwaj is this stone best type.

 Also, the pink cream stone is also very beautiful with a light cream background and pink veins, which is also known as pomegranate juice. This stone is cut in 40 lengths, ranging from 40 x 40 cm to more, and the reasonable price has made it one of the economic and at the same time beautiful floor covering.

The open limestone presence veins in this stone is common, which should be corrected in processing using UV or other methods. Also, due to the not very high compressive strength and many veins, the stone surface jumping possibility (so-called voiding vein) under moisture or loading in traffic areas is possible.

Dehbid Khorasan Marble (Special)

Dehbid Khorasan stone is a relatively high-quality marble type, which is known by this name because of its similarity to Dehbid marble (This stone quarries  are located near the Mashhad city).

This stone background color is relatively light in its quality varieties, but compared to Abadeh stone, it is relatively darker and has more streaks.

Due to its good strength, its large dimensions are even available as slabs, and in price terms, it is cheaper than Dehbid and Abadeh stone.
