Careful with those “250,000 satisfied customers” claims, they’re usually just marketing copy. Check Google reviews and ask for an itemised quote before you hand over the keys. A quick service shouldn’t mean rushed work.
Musaffah is a solid shout for the Pajero. Loads of independents there work on Mitsubishis every day, and most will finish a routine service in a few hours if you book a slot. Call ahead and ask what oil and filters they use.
For a routine Pajero service, make sure they’re doing engine oil and filter, air and cabin filters, and a brake and diff fluid check. If yours is the 3.8 V6, ask about the spark plug interval too. Any decent garage should give you a proper checklist afterwards.
I took my Montero Sport to a small place in Musaffah last year and was out in about three hours. It cost roughly half of what the dealer quoted, and they showed me the old filters without me asking. Just ask for a written invoice.
How many km is it on right now? If it’s close to the 60k mark, you might want the bigger service done in one go. That way you won’t be back in the garage a month later.
